From Management back to Sales funtimes.
I'm in the process of chronicling what it's like to go from managing and mentoring agents for more than 10 years to starting back as a new agent. I'll add to this on an almost daily basis in hopes that my journey will be an inspiration to other managers who want to break free from their "Golden Handcuffs" and for new agents that will be able to see how to start from scratch, the correct way. I recently left my position as Branch Manager of Coldwell Banker in Southern California. It was my 65th birthday and time for me to walk out from around the desk and get back to doing open houses, expanding my sphere and doing what every agent should be doing. For the record, I have nothing in my pipeline and I am starting completely from scratch.
I'm still in great physical shape and my entire family works at jobs with independent control of their own schedules. We now have time to travel while we work, travel while we play and stay in bed if we feel like it.
I'm just two days into setting up everything new, websites, lead generation machines, signs, postcards and team responsibilities.
I invite you to join in for what I hope will be a very unique and interesting process. I hope you all get something of value and I would love it if you would join the party with your comments and support. I had to get this mini-post out so that I can finish all the necessary connections to make all this work.
